About the Author – Olivia Hardin realized early on how strange she was to have complete movie-like character dreams as a child. Eventually she began putting those vivid dreams to paper and was rarely without her spiral notebooks full of those mental ramblings. Her forgotten vision of becoming an author was realized when she connected with a group of amazingly talented and fabulous writers who gave her lots of direction and encouragement. With a little extra push from family and friends, she hunkered down to get lost in the words. She’s also an insatiable crafter who only completes about 1 out of 5 projects, a jogger who hates to run, and is sometimes accused of being artistic, though she’s generally too much of a perfectionist to appreciate her own work. MY THOUGHTS:
I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. I do have to say that I have read each and every book from this amazing author. Typically I only ready books in the paranormal genre. When I first heard that the other was writing a contemporary book I was sceptical but that initial reaction was way beyond how I am feeling now. This author has changed my outlook into expanding into other genres. She captured my interest at first the beautiful cover then page 1. She has the unique ability to engage the readers into the story and captivate them into craving more from her. You can see the slow development of each and every character and can feel there are parts of people that she cares deeply for placed into each one. Mrs. Hardin is a author you can feel the emotions and love she holds for her characters and story as if their story must be told. I loved the interractions between Hope and Brennan. The author has you hoping and praying they are able to finally come together. To see two people give up everything for the saftey of a child that is not even related to them is truly selfless and endearing. Seeing Brennan take on the psedo role as father for the baby goes to show how much he has grown up with the help whether it was through her unconditional love or tough love Hope had to dole to him. I highly recommend this story to anyone that needs Hope in their lives. This was a very enjoyable storyline and I for one would never question a difference in her typical genre ever again.
