MY FEELINGS ON THIS FABULOUS BOOK: 5+ STARS

My thoughts on the book Today Only by D Love. There are no words that could begin to do this book justice. The author is a very caring and helpful person that is always there to help out a author on pimping their books or doing release parties as a blogger. Well the tables are turned, this is her first book and it was amazing. You can truly get into the feelings and emotions of the characters. I love how she gave Rye and Jett such a three dimensional dynamic. You could feel the reluctance that Rye had in a relationship with Jett but knew that her daughter Em was going to need lots of support. The emotions just poured from the pages I was unable to put this book down. Ok truth be told I was so affected by this story and so connected to all the characters that I cried like a big big baby. I so was rooting for love to conquer all but this was what happens in life. There are times that we find that one true soul mate and we must cherish the time that we have and like the title says make it TODAY ONLY. I absolutely loved this quote from the book that Jett said to Rye.

“What I want from you is simple. I want today only. If it’s laughter, I want it. If it’s pain, I want it. Whatever today holds, as long as the day holds you, I want it. I want today only.”

Isn’t that truly beautiful. Yes, I’m crying again. You are such a wonderful and truly gifted author. You were able to touch on so many different emotions out of the reader that we could truly connect. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fantastic emotional storyline. You get so immersed into their lives you just know that the author has dug deep within themselves to harness the true feelings of someone going through a horrific and life alterring fork in the road. I really hope to read more books from this amazing author. Thank you for allowing us into Jett, Rye, and Emily journey through coping and overcoming adversity. Remember life is a gift that we are given it is up to us to make the memories last.

My Thoughts:

I received a copy of Demon by Laura DeLuca in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I have to say that I have read each and every book written by this fabulous author. I started with her book Destiny and immediately fell in love with her writing style. When I started reading her Dark Musical series I was not sure what to expect because the first one Phantom was about the book Phantom of the Opera. I personally never watched or read it. Now Demon was based loosely on the story of Sweeny Todd and before reading I knew absolutely nothing about it except I don’t like Johnny Depp in anything. But let me tell you that this was her absolute best book to date. I truly can’t wait to read the final chapter Hyde. The relationship of Becca and Lord Justyn is such a great dynamic relationship you can’t help but love them. They are complete opposite type people but they fit. There is a lot of mystery and suspense in the book that will leave you guessing from page to page. I thought I knew who it was but BAM another twist was thrown in to keep us guessing. True love always will find their way through even the greatest adversaries if you only believe. I highly recommend this book if you like adventure, suspense, drama, and of course a big fan of true love.

MY THOUGHTS:

Brady and Karis were fated as one but I loved how they truly fought for the one they love. It was a emotional roller coaster that tested them time and time again. I absolutely loved this book. It started with cover love and then the story. You have everything in this book. Immortals, Merpeople, and the author found a way to sneak in my favorite Greek Mythology how can you go wrong. I would recommend this book for ages 16+ not because it has sexual graphic scenes but it hints at it without showing it all in detail. I would call it a fade to black you know they did it but not all details. I really cant wait to read more into the series the author left me on a cliffhanger. I recommend this to everyone to see a woman embracing her abilities to fight along side her man for the good of others.

If I could be any character from a book I would love to be Femi who is a Sehket. She is a bad a** bounty hunter that has been a supporting character in Liz Schulte’s books. She is one character that deserves her very own book. She is not afraid of anything and always there for her friends all they need to do is ask. I would love to see more depth in her bounty hunting and a love interest for her. Being in love doesn’t make you any less tough.

This week, Lizzy Ford is revealing the new cover for “Autumn Storm” (#2, Witchling Series). MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. I couldn’t wait to see the next installment to the series. I fell in love with the first book The Marraige Bargain and couldn’t wait to see what the author had in store for Andre. One thing I have come to know is nothing is as easy as it may seem. These story’s are not straight forward love story’s. There are twist and turns around every corner. This is a very fast read cause you cant just read a few chapters and come back. You are forced to stick with it cause you are so engaged. I love the dimensions each characters are given. I cant wait to read more by this author.

My thoughts

Ok now I have not read book 1 but after reading this one I will be going back to it. What more can you ask for than shapeshifters and vampires. Wouldn’t life be devine stuck in a love triangle with 2 hot vampires. Well downside is that Natasha was human. This was one book that kept me engaged from beginning to end. I do need to say that it is for 18+ there is sex scenes involved. I cant wait to read book 1 and future books in the series. It has everything mystery, sex, romance, and above all paranormal. The author captured many different emotions in the readers and had a seamless flow if light and dark to keep the reader engaged. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes adult paranormal.
