My thoughts

I received a copy of the book in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. To be honest I didn’t know what steamboat punk was. I still don’t understand the genre. It seemed like a regular fantasy book in my eyes. The author was very though in the description of the characters and the setting. As a reader you were able to really visualize the story. This was a book that drew you in making it hard to stop turning pages. You could not stop reading you had to find out what adventure was going to happen. I highly recommend this book if your looking for a very imaginative story line and characters you either love or hate.

MY FEELINGS ON THIS FABULOUS BOOK: 5+ STARS

My thoughts on the book Today Only by D Love. There are no words that could begin to do this book justice. The author is a very caring and helpful person that is always there to help out a author on pimping their books or doing release parties as a blogger. Well the tables are turned, this is her first book and it was amazing. You can truly get into the feelings and emotions of the characters. I love how she gave Rye and Jett such a three dimensional dynamic. You could feel the reluctance that Rye had in a relationship with Jett but knew that her daughter Em was going to need lots of support. The emotions just poured from the pages I was unable to put this book down. Ok truth be told I was so affected by this story and so connected to all the characters that I cried like a big big baby. I so was rooting for love to conquer all but this was what happens in life. There are times that we find that one true soul mate and we must cherish the time that we have and like the title says make it TODAY ONLY. I absolutely loved this quote from the book that Jett said to Rye.

“What I want from you is simple. I want today only. If it’s laughter, I want it. If it’s pain, I want it. Whatever today holds, as long as the day holds you, I want it. I want today only.”

Isn’t that truly beautiful. Yes, I’m crying again. You are such a wonderful and truly gifted author. You were able to touch on so many different emotions out of the reader that we could truly connect. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a fantastic emotional storyline. You get so immersed into their lives you just know that the author has dug deep within themselves to harness the true feelings of someone going through a horrific and life alterring fork in the road. I really hope to read more books from this amazing author. Thank you for allowing us into Jett, Rye, and Emily journey through coping and overcoming adversity. Remember life is a gift that we are given it is up to us to make the memories last.

“Still with me, Liberty?” he asked. I didn’t want to move. We were so connected, the position so intimate, I was sure I was ready to combust on the spot. Andrew had tried holding me this close and it had made my skin crawl. It was the complete opposite with Oliver. This made me feel wanton. Reckless.

“Uh huh.” It was the only way I could respond.

“It’s just you need to keep breathing, sweetheart.” His use of that endearment made my insides melt. “Be brave.”

MY THOUGHTS:
I received a copy of Junction, Utah in exchange for an honest and unbiased opinion. The author really was very descriptive in her developing of her characters. Each character brought something very interesting and unique to the story. The story was so involved with many different topics and direction the reader doesn’t ever get a chance to get bored. This is a book that was a page turner you were wanting to see what could possibly be next. The description in the book entices the reader and gives them a great picture of the things that the character is going though. I recommend this book if you are looking for something just a little bit different and have many different outlets for you to read into.

MY THOUGHTS

I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest and unbiased review. What would you do if the person you vowed to love, honor, and cherish till death do you part suddenly tells you that your marriage is dead? Sure you look different than when you first met but you also gave birth to HIS children. Then to find out he is boinking a 20 something bimbo homewrecker. I loved how this book shows the journey from total devistation to the ability to find self worth and happiness. This kind of situation happens all to often but gives the hope to people that we define ourselves and not let another define what they want. Steven the husband was a jerk and doesn’t deserve Maddy. I highly recommend this for a very enjoyable and relaxing reading day.
