Welcome Lola James, thank you so much for hanging out this us today.Tell us a little bit about your book and have you published before? I have been writing since my teens but after reading the twilight novels, I fell back in love with writing.

Yes, before I published Fate’s Design I published a novella named Bound to Remember. Both books are the first in different series.  

Will this be the only book in the series? No, I plan to write many books in the series at least four.

Are you currently working on anything else? I am, I will soon release the book two that follows Bound to Remember, I am working on Defying Fate the follow up to Fate’s Design and a chic lit that hope to release this summer.

Do you have any advice for authors wanting to publish? Why did you choose to go indie? The best advice I have to give is to join a writing group, in that group find a critique partner (s), beta reader (s), and people that are just as passionate about writing as you are!

I am indie published and I love my control. I am not saying that I would never go the traditional route but as of right now I love my publisher, me!

What is your favorite writing snack? Gummy Bears, I love them!

What gets you in the mood to write? Mostly music… but also taking a shower seems to help!

Who is your favorite character and why? Alex, he is/was the perfect man to me. I love writing about him because at the end of the day he has flaws. I happen to believe that flaws make character real!

Favorite book of all time? Wow… just one… uh Interview with a Vampire. I read it when I was thirteen and still read it from time to time.

I think breakfast says a lot about a person, what is your perfect breakfast? I’m greedy and I love breakfast: pancakes, bacon, eggs, fruit, and potatoes O’Brien.

Do you have a favorite period of time that you like to write about or would like to live? I would love to have lived in the early 60’s. I love the hair, clothes, and just the style for both men and women. I don’t like that women were objectified or that we didn’t have equal civil rights but I just loved the period. I might write about it one day.

Please tell us in one sentence why we should read your book! My book takes you out of the norm of most paranormal romance books and makes you fall in love with fate.
